The arithmetic
You are already paying this. The question is who does the work.
Both bars are drawn to the same scale. The top one is what a clerk costs you every month. The bottom one is what we cost.
A clerk on your payrollHK$16,538/ month
Alveek — the same desk workHK$6,800/ month
HK$9,738 stays with you, every month.
Salary is the median advertised rate for the role; MPF is the employer's 5% on top.
And that is before the agency fee you don't pay. The gap isn't a discount — you're buying the documents, not a full-time seat.
Salary: median monthly rate across 1,485 Labour Department vacancies, compiled by Alveek, September 2026. MPF: Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority — employer contribution 5%, relevant income limits HK$7,100 and HK$30,000 a month. Recruitment fee: publicly quoted local agency rates, 15–30% of first-year salary.
Before you post the ad
What the salary doesn't show
The monthly figure is the part that's easy to compare. These are the costs that only turn up after you've hired.
Weeks before they're useful
A new clerk has to learn your formats, your numbering and your customers before the work coming out is worth what's going in. You pay full salary for all of it.
If they leave, you pay it again
Notice, then the agency fee a second time — 15–30% of first-year salary — then the same weeks of learning, from the beginning.
A mistake reaches your customer
A wrong figure on an invoice doesn't stop inside your office. You carry the correction, the credit note and the conversation that comes with it.
Your own hours, supervising
Questions, checking, chasing. The time the hire was supposed to give back to you is the time you spend making sure it's right.
Why us
The cheapest quote isn't the question
You can send this work offshore for less. Here is what you get by not doing that.
15+ years doing this work, with a team experienced across different fields — for 10+ construction, 10+ trading and 10+ wholesale companies in Hong Kong.
Start with a free week. Not a contract.
Pick a week of real documents — quotations, invoices, whatever is piled up — and we'll do it once, at no charge, in your formats. No contract, no card, no obligation to continue. If it isn't right, that's where it ends and you owe us nothing.
The work stays in Hong Kong
The people doing your paperwork are in Hong Kong, working under a Hong Kong NDA. Working copies sit in a cloud account covered by that same NDA, and we tell you what it is before you send anything.
Your formats, never our system
Everything comes back as Excel and PDF, in your letterhead and your numbering. Nothing is locked inside a tool of ours, so leaving costs you nothing but notice.
The same person every month
The same person handles your account every month, so they learn your formats and your numbering and don't need re-briefing. Your paperwork isn't passed around a floor of temps.
We tell you what we can't do
Fieldwork, bank runs, audit and tax filing aren't ours, and we say so before you ask. Of the eight duties in a real clerk vacancy, we can do five.
One fee, one agreed volume
Anything past the agreed document count is agreed with you before we do it. You will never find out from the invoice.
Start with one pile, not everything
You don't have to hand over the whole back office on day one. Pick the pile that annoys you most, and add the rest only when you want to.
The first step is small
Send one week of paperwork and see what comes back
Pick the pile that annoys you most. We do it once in your formats, at no charge. If it isn't right, that's where it ends and you owe nothing.
